So, I had posted pictures of some of the squares I had been working on, but I am too impatient to wait for responses on the colors of the baby afghan. I like it, so if no one else would, I will put it on my couch and save it for my own baby. :) Anyway, I was so excited about getting started tonight that I went ahead and just finished the center (12"x12") It took me all night since I got off work, but I just couldn't contain myself. The picture really doesn't do it justice because you don't get to see all the details. I think it is good for my first ever afghan! It's just the center, though. Baby Afghan on Its Way!

ReplyDeleteTotally love it!! You have been working tons on it and it shows. It would be a great baby afghan and the colors go great together! I still have all the ones that were made for the boys. The last afghan that my grandma made was for Mid D. After that she couldnt see because of an eye surgery that went wrong...so when I had Lil D she was upset she couldnt make one. My mom gave me an afghan that my great grandma made my mom and now the boys are using it...love the history!! Big D's grandma used to make afghans for the grandkis when they graduated high school. That afghan is in our camper on the couch right were everyone can see it. They are great things to keep and pass on. Even if you dont give it away you will have something for your own kiddies to pass on...But I am sure you will make more right?!! Have a great evening!
